The Irish Minister for Finance will present the Irish Budget 2021 on Tuesday, 13 October 2020. It will be watched keenly by business and international investors in Ireland.
The Budget is then followed by the Finance Bill / Act which contains the detailed Irish tax legislation.
The timeline for the Budget process in 2019 was as follows. It is expected that it will be a similar timeline this year.
8 October 2019 – Budget Day
5 October 2019 - Finance Bill published
6 November 2019 - As amended in Parliamentary Select Committee
20 November 2019 - As passed by Dáil Éireann (the Irish Parliament)
22 December 2019 - Finance Act 2019 enacted
