A reminder that the competent authority in the Cayman Islands now has the power to levy administrative fines against companies that are found not to be complying with their obligations to identify and file details of their beneficial owners.  'Enquiries Pending' status in a company's BO register for an uninterrupted period of not less than three months will be prima facie evidence of a breach of its obligations under the BO regime.
